I tried my best to not give my opinion on this song since I pretty much agree with all the other blogs that did. But after hearing this song about 5 times on MTVJams while I finish my homework, I think it soaked into my brain now.
It's pretty much standard, first single Eminem. Honestly, I think the rhyming is on point. The content is obviously played, but you can't front on the way he puts his words together. I don't know what's up with the accent though. It sounds like a horrible attempt at a Jamaican accent. The beat's better than "The Real Slim Shady" or "Without Me," which isn't saying much but should count for something. And the singing in the chorus is sorta catchy. I think it's mainly that accent that's bothering me. If not for the accent, the song would still be terrible, but at least as tolerable as some of his past first singles...
The song still sucks.
