Just got back from the midnight viewing of "The Watchmen" (2hrs & 40mins.) and i'm a little too tired to give an in-depth review. All I got to say is that the casting and sets were spot on. It's probably the most accurate adaptation of a comic-to-film i've ever seen. I'd give it an 8-9 out of 10. Will others dig it as much as I did? I came up with 3 possible answers to that...
1. If you've never read the comic, you MIGHT like the film. Depending on your expectations and assumptions from seeing the trailers or what you've heard. it's very dialogue heavy - which is taken directly from the comic - so if you're not into that, you might feel like the movie is dragging.
2. If you've read the comic and liked it, you will most likely dig the film. They pretty much put panel to screen.
3. If you've read the comic and DIDN'T like it, you probably won't care much for the film.
I plan on re-reading it and maybe even watching it again.
