I've been trying to find this performance for a long time, and finally came across it. TI performing "What You Know" at the 2006 BET Awards. The reason I like this performance so much is because the sound got messed up, and TI had to perform the song without the beat - just the orchestra playing in the background. At this time, he was calling himself "The King" and the whole vibe of this performance seemed very regal to me. The way he just said fuck it, and did the joint slower with only the strings and organ playing. Then when the sound starts working and the beat finally kicks in, everything is more hype. I know it wasn't done on purpose, but it sounded as if the whole song was building up to that point.

Dr. Dre (feat. TI Ghost Verse & Nas) - Topless

I just noticed that TI isn't actually featured on this song. He's doing a reference verse for Dr. Dre. Notice TI is rapping as if he was Dre. Overall, this track is dope and has me lightweight hyped for Detox again...
